State of Alabama Children’s Trust Fund
The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) was created by the Alabama legislature in 1983 to reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect in the state by supporting community-based prevention programs.
The Fire Research Grants Program is open to institutions of higher education; hospitals; non-profit organizations; commercial organizations; state, local, and Indian tribal governments; foreign governments; organizations under the jurisdiction of foreign governments; and international organizations. Joint programs with participation by more than one eligible entity are possible.

The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (the Fund) was created for the purpose of promoting economic revitalization and community development through investment in and assistance to community development financial institutions (CDFIs). The Fund was established under the Reigle Community Development and Regulatory Improvement Act of 1994, as a bipartisan initiative.

Administration of Aging Grants
Each year, Congress appropriates funds for use by AoA and the other Federal Agencies in carrying out their mission. AoA provides grant funding to States and territories, recognized Native American Tribes and Hawaiian Americans, as well as nonprofit organizations, including faith-based and academic institutions. Individuals are not eligible to apply for AoA funding.
